It features a dusk to dawn sensor, utilizing a photocell sensor that automatically turns the landscape lights connected to it on at sunset and off at sunrise. Additionally, the transformer includes a 2H/4H/6H/8H countdown timer that allows you to schedule when your low voltage lighting will turn off at night. For convenience, it is recommended to connect all landscaping lights that need to turn off at the same time to this transformer for easy setup.

An automatic overload circuit breaker is also integrated into the transformer. If the LED display is off while the utility voltage is still present, it indicates a major overload. In such cases, the transformer will automatically shut off the low voltage output to prevent damage caused by an overloaded circuit. Furthermore, even if the power is cut to the transformer, it will remember your last setting instead of resetting it when turned back on.
